GEM Affinity Group
The GEM Affinity Group is a community of graduate students who are recipients of the GEM Fellowship. In addition to connecting through programming offered by The National GEM Consortium, these students participate in community building, mentorship, and professional development sessions.
Ph.D. Success Academy
The Ph.D. Success Academy is an onboarding initiative for new(er) Ph.D. students that enables them to form a diverse and supportive network to experience a successful graduate school journey. The program also aims to develop and implement a strategy for post-graduation success.

GEM
GEM is a network of leading corporations, government laboratories, top universities, and top research institutions that enables qualified students from underrepresented communities to pursue graduate (master’s and doctoral) education in applied science and engineering. GEM offers paid fellowships, internships, graduate degrees, and career planning events.
