PITA Fellowship
New in spring 2025, the College of Engineering is pleased to start its PITA Fellowship program. As part of the initiative, eight students who participated in the EMERGE mentorship program as first-year students will become PITA Student Fellows. These students will each receive a $2,000 stipend and conduct research alongside faculty whose work is funded by PITA, as well as participate in monthly professional development events. Projects range from developing inclusive multimodal noninvasive hemodynamic imaging techniques and data analysis to additive manufacturing, with a focus on process design and optimization.
