PITA Fellowship
The College of Engineering launched its PITA Fellowship program in spring 2025. Through this initiative, eight students who previously participated in the EMERGE mentorship program as first-year students will be selected as PITA Student Fellows. Each fellow will receive a $2,000 stipend to conduct research alongside faculty whose work is supported by PITA and will also take part in monthly professional development activities. Research projects span a wide range of topics, from neurostimulation clinical trials for the treatment of chronic pain to the use of generative AI to enhance the design of water treatment systems addressing PFAS contamination.
