Alan Scheller-Wolf’s research focuses on discrete time inventory theory: perishable inventory, spare parts systems, assemble to order systems; service systems: healthcare, call centers; queueing theory: multi-server queues, stability and moment conditions, strategic queueing, closed queueing networks, Markov Decision Processes; and applications: renewable energy, product portfolio optimization, parking queues.
