Stephanie Steren-Ruta

Stephanie Steren-Ruta is an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer - Digitalization at Carnegie Mellon's Manufacturing Futures Institute (MFI). At MFI, she works closely with researchers to ensure the integration of research projects into the digital backbone, supporting the digital transformation of manufacturing through data-driven advanced manufacturing research.

Through her extensive experience in leading million-dollar projects globally, she has demonstrated superior communication, leadership, and technical skills. Stephanie is adept at quickly adapting to new procedures and technologies and is proficient in managing teams and overseeing complex projects. Her career includes roles at Micro-Poise Measurement Systems and Bridgestone Americas, where she contributed significantly to process improvement and automation in tire manufacturing.

Stephanie's path is distinguished by her close ties to Carnegie Mellon University, which inspired her pursuit of an electrical engineering degree from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville, ultimately bringing her back to contribute to its innovative initiatives.
