The Scott Institute for Energy Innovation will host an Entrepreneurial Student Lunch Seminar titled “Non-Traditional Career Paths: How Students Can Join or Launch Startup Companies." CMU experts will discuss leveraging campus resources for startup creation and navigating Pittsburgh’s dynamic startup ecosystem. Attendance is free, and lunch will be provided.

Speakers:

  • Anita Jesionowski is the Senior Director of Research Partnerships and Entrepreneurship at the College of Engineering.
  • Dave Mawhinney is the founding executive director of the Swartz Center for Entrepreneurship and the executive director of the Donald H. Jones Center for Entrepreneurship. Dave is also a full-teaching professor at the Carnegie Mellon Tepper School of Business.
  • Cindy Chepanoske is the Director of Technology Licensing at the Center for Technology Transfer and Enterprise Creation (CTTEC).
