Christina Chang will share insights into creating successful climate tech ventures. Solutions to the carbon nightmare will win because they are cheaper, better, faster, stronger, simpler, and just plain cooler than what is available today. Chang will discuss the key factors that make a climate tech venture investible, including problem statement framing, timing, unfair advantage via new technology learning curves, climate and market impact, and business model. Lowercarbon supports scientists to think boldly in order to proactively tackle some the world's most pressing problems. Chang provides a roadmap for aspiring climate tech entrepreneurs to build successful ventures that make a positive impact on the planet.
Free to all students. Lunch will be provided.
