While engineering is a discipline that is committed to developing problem solvers, the expectations of the field can also lead to stress, burnout, and mental health pressures (Jensen, 2021). Therefore, the 2023 Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion series will focus on providing educational information and strategies to strengthen the mental health and wellness of our CMU Engineering community.
The first session is Supporting Students in Distress featuring guest speaker Dr. Abigail Cruz from Counseling & Psychological Services (CaPS).
