GitPages Opens in new window is a free platform for hosting your own simple website and showcasing your work to potential employers and clients. In this workshop, we'll introduce you to Git and GitHub, and then we'll provide a hands-on experience with setting up a GitPage website using Jekyll, a versatile website generator that uses markdown or HTML to create static websites with many templates to choose from. No prior knowledge or experience with Git, GitHub or GitPages is required. Please bring a laptop with you to the workshop.
