Join the Scott Institute for a regional showcase of the EnergyTech University Prize (EnergyTech UP), sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Technology Transitions. Register to observe team presentations as they compete to move onto the Final Pitch Phase.

EnergyTech UP is an engaging competition that challenges post-secondary students to develop and present a business plan that leverages lab-developed and other high-potential energy technologies. EnergyTech UP awards more than $250,000 in cash prizes to teams that successfully identify an energy technology, assess its market potential, and propose a strategy for commercialization. The competition gives students the opportunity to learn, lead, and grow, offering cash prizes to winners based on the strength of their proposal, not the strength of their background.
