In year six, students designed shot-blocking equipment to protect players' lower legs and ankles from shots by the opposition. Working in teams, students explored and tested various materials to find solutions that would enhance player protection without compromising performance. From socks to skates and boots, participants gained a better understanding of the challenges players face and utilized innovation and creativity to develop practical prototypes.
