The ESTP Applied Study master's degree programs integrate a career and professional development course, as well as units related to a summer internship, into the foundational degree programs.
Two Applied Study degrees are available within the ESTP program:
Energy Science, Technology, & Policy Applied Study
- 2 semesters of full-time study, plus one summer term
- 102 total units - 24 units energy core; 36 units engineering concentration; 36 units breadth electives; 6 units of applied study; summer internship required
- Students must begin coursework in the spring semester
Energy Science, Technology, & Policy Applied Advanced Study
- 3 semesters of full-time study, plus one summer term
- 126 total units - 24 units energy core; 36 units engineering concentration; 36 units breadth elective; 36 units in Energy Projects concentration, Data Science concentration, or additional engineering concentration; 6 units of applied study; summer internship required
