AI Engineering Fundamentals

This credit-bearing, graduate-level certificate program will enable engineers to use artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques to generate more efficient, accurate, and productive engineering solutions.

The 100% online nine-month program includes weekly 90-minute classes, which are held in the evening, and an optional weekly recitation session.

AI Engineering - Digital Twins & Analytics

Digital twin technology is rapidly evolving, and engineering leaders need the most cutting-edge, widely respected approaches to stay ahead. In this program, engineers will learn the principles of digital twins and digital twin modeling, how to build a business case for digital twin adoption, and how to leverage the power of digital twins to harness data-driven insights and improve decision-making with predictive analytics.

This 100% online 9-month program includes weekly, live-online classes with renowned CMU professors in the evening, and an optional weekly recitation session.

3D Bioprinting & Biofabrication

Delivery mode: Online

This program’s unique, credit-bearing curriculum teaches the fundamentals of fabricating structurally complex 3D tissues. Physicians, biomedical engineers, and other medical professionals will acquire the skills needed to create bio-fabricated tissues and bring this actionable knowledge back to their organizations using easily accessible materials.

The 100% online 12-month program includes weekly 90-minute classes, which are held in the evening, and an optional on-campus lab experience.

Integrated Innovation Institute certificates

Delivery mode: Online

The Integrated Innovation Institute, which unites design, business, and engineering disciplines, offers four online certificates, which can be pursued individually or stacked towards a master’s degree.

Certificates in Technology for Product Management and Product Design Innovation are offered during the fall semester, and certificates in Methods & Tools for Product Innovation and New Product Management are offered in the spring semester.

Ph.D. Certificate in Engineering Management, Leadership, and Innovation

This Carnegie Mellon University College of Engineering certificate program is designed to equip Ph.D. engineers with essential business knowledge and soft skills to succeed in industry.
