Emmanuel Ndashimye is an assistant teaching professor at Carnegie Mellon University Africa. He received the Bachelor of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering degree from University of Rwanda (UR), College of Science and Technology, Rwanda in 2005 and MSc degree in Communication and Information Systems (with Distinction) from Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), China in 2009. He completed his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the Auckland University of Technology (AUT), New Zealand in 2018. His Ph.D. focused on developing handover decision algorithms for Vehicle-to-Infrastructure Communications over Heterogeneous Wireless Networks. His research interests are in mobility for high speed mobile nodes, 5G networks, LTE- Advanced/LTE-Unlicensed, Network Security, and Internet of Things. Ndashimye served as an editor for Engineering Science & Technology, Universal Wiser Publisher (2019 - 2022) and is a member of IEEE.
