Shay Lynn Myers began her career in higher education at Drexel University College of Medicine, first as the executive assistant to the dean of students and subsequently as the director of student affairs. After 13 years at Drexel, she took a break from the higher ed world and began a six-year stint working in faculty support/event services at The Omega Institute, a non-profit retreat center and global community with an emphasis on service. Myers received her B.A. in communication studies from Susquehanna University and her M.S. in library and information science from Drexel University.
