Jason Griess

Jason Griess is the associate director of partnerships at CyLab. He maintains and strengthens relationships with existing partners, ensuring they utilize the benefits of partnership to the fullest. Prior to joining CyLab, Griess was the ecosystem and research director for InnovatePGH, where he connected high-growth tech startups to the investment, talent, and office space they needed to stay and grow in Pittsburgh. He previously worked at Deloitte as a senior strategy and analytics consultant in the Government and Public Services Practice, and spent time in various policy research roles, focused primarily on economic development and urban innovation.

Griess received a Master’s of Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University’s Heinz College, and an undergraduate degree in sociology from the University of Virginia. He lives in Highland Park with his wife and daughter, and is dedicated to improving the economic strength of CMU and Pittsburgh.
