Stefanie Garcia
Outreach Coordinator for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, Electrical and Computer Engineering
Stefanie Garcia is an outreach coordinator for the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. She earned her BS degree in physics/biophysics from UC San Diego, and her MS degree in EECS from UC Berkeley. Her research includes work on MEMS implantable medical devices for radiation detection and oncology applications, specifically for proton beam therapies.
Garcia works in K-12 engineering education in urban settings, and has enjoyed working in community organizations and public schools within the East Bay, CA, Trenton, NJ, and Pittsburgh, PA.
