Moise Busogi

Moise Busogi is an academic, researcher, and innovation leader working at the intersection of signal processing, artificial intelligence, and applied digital technologies. He is an assistant teaching professor at Carnegie Mellon University Africa and co-director of the Upanzi Network, and previously served as deputy director and research fellow at the Kigali Collaborative Research Centre. He holds a Ph.D. and M.S. in system design and control engineering from Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology, and a B.S. in industrial and systems engineering from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology. He has contributed to Africa’s AI and digital innovation ecosystem through research, capacity building, curriculum development, and advisory roles supporting responsible and practical AI adoption.
