Franck K. Adjogble is a distinguished professional in technology and innovation management with a robust background in computer science, data analysis, and manufacturing automation systems. He earned his Ph.D. in technology and innovation management from the University of Hagen, Germany, in collaboration with the Fraunhofer Institute of Industrial Engineering. Additionally, he holds a Technology and Innovation Management Certificate from the University of Hagen and Fraunhofer Institute and an M.Sc. in computer science from the University of Siegen.

Adjogble has held various leadership positions in the steel and aluminum rolling industries, including general manager of digital technologies and digital Ssolutions at SMS-Digital and SMS-Group, chief engineer and business development manager at SMS-SIEMAG LLC, and manager of automation systems and process models at SMS-SIEMAG GmbH. He has extensive experience in commissioning and managing rolling mills and automation systems, with a focus on hot strip and plate mills, working on projects worldwide.

As a lecturer at TÜV Akademie Rheinland GmbH in Siegen, Germany, and a faculty member at the University of Hagen, Adjogble is teaching courses in IT security, technology intelligence, and software engineering. He is supervising and mentoring numerous master’s students in technology and innovation management and is currently guiding a team of several students from various disciplines.

Adjogble aims to bridge the gap between industry knowledge and academic research, aspiring for a long-term career as a university professor. He has received prestigious awards, including the James Farrington Award, Hunt-Kelly Award, and AIST Board of Directors Award. His research on topics like the Industrial Internet of Things, Natural Language Processing, and Artificial Intelligence in production planning has been widely published and presented at major conferences.
