By employing the Kanban method of designing, managing and improving work flow systems, researchers intend to demonstrate how assembly of two DNA origami modules can initiate locomotion. They plan to fabricate a microfluidic system for staged assembly; manufacture multicomponent systems; and implement cloud-lab based manufacturing of DNA origami nanomodules.
