ESTP honors 2025-2026 graduates

The ESTP master’s program celebrated the graduation of nine students from its 2025-2026 class on May 9, 2026. At the diploma ceremony, graduates received their Foundational Energy Master's Degrees or Applied Study Energy Master's Degrees. They have become part of our robust alumni network, which comprises over 280 ESTP alumni and more than 110,000 CMU alumni from around the world. Graduates, family, friends, and ESTP core faculty attended the lunch reception and ceremony in the Bosch Spark Conference Room in Scott Hall.

Ankit Kalanki (M.S., ESTP, 2018) delivered the keynote speech at the ceremony. Ankit is a Principal at RMI, where he leads global initiatives to accelerate next-generation super-efficient cooling technologies, advance refrigerant management, and strengthen adaptation to extreme heat.

Two academic excellence awards were given to graduates to acknowledge their outstanding academic achievements:

• Shuyi Wang (M.S., ESTP, 2026)
