Kaz Shindle

Kaz Shindle is the program manager for community engagement for the College of Engineering. They received their BS in biology from the University of Pittsburgh and their MA degree in gender studies from Indiana University-Bloomington. Previously, Shindle has worked in professional development and success initiatives in various roles in higher education. They are focused on creating welcoming spaces through the Intergroup Dialogue program and Cultural Humility trainings at the college level and developing innovative programming within the Mechanical Engineering Department to ensure that all students have the resources and environment to succeed at CMU.
