Michael Rossi is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), and brings a broad range of research support and project and program management experience to CTI. Prior to joining Carnegie Mellon University, he worked as a project manager/director for 24 years at ICF, a global consulting firm, supporting numerous data collection and research grants and contracts for the National Science Foundation's Directorate for STEM Education and National Center for Science and Engineering Statistics, the National Institutes of Health Office of Extramural Research, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's Division of Vector-borne Diseases. He also worked as a research specialist at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He received his BA in Sociology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, a Master's Certificate in Project Management from the University of Pittsburgh Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business, and his PMP Certification from the Project Management Institute.
