Elizabeth Dechasa earned her B.A. in languages, literatures, and cultures and Spanish from Augustana University and her M.A. for teachers of English to speakers of other languages (TESOL) from the University of Washington, Seattle. Prior to joining ECE in 2025, she had supported students as a career advisor at CMU Heinz College’s Reidy Career Center. She had also worked at the University of Washington as a program assistant in the Center for International Relations and Cultural Leadership Exchange and as an Instructor for English Composition. Outside of work, Dechasa enjoys coffee, walks, languages, and exploring international cultures and new recipes.
