George Amvrosiadis is an associate research professor of electrical and computer engineering at Carnegie Mellon University, with a courtesy appointment in the Computer Science Department, and a member of the Parallel Data Lab. His research focuses on distributed systems, operating systems, and data analysis. He co-teaches two popular graduate-level courses on advanced cloud computing and storage systems. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Toronto.
