The Afretec Faculty Course Design Institute is a hybrid professional development program designed to support faculty in redesigning existing courses or developing new ones using learner-centered, challenge-based, and design thinking approaches. The Institute aims to enhance teaching practices by aligning course design with real-world challenges, industry needs, and inclusive pedagogies.
Expected outcomes include the development of ready-to-use course prototype syllabi, high-impact learning activities, and open educational resources (OERs). Participants will also build a cross-institutional community of practice that fosters collaboration, innovation, and sustainable improvement in teaching and learning across the network.
This event is only open to Afretec members
