NextManufacturing Center (NextM) held its summer bi-annual membership meeting on July 18, 2019. It included overviews of our research in various areas of additive manufacturing (AM), a networking lunch and research expo with two dozen posters and demos, introduction of new members, and an off-site introduction and tour of CMU’s new advanced manufacturing facility at Hazelwood. Over 85 participants were present, including CMU faculty, postdocs, students, staff, and 20 representatives from the 17 consortium partner organizations. NextM also welcomed its newest consortium members, The ExOne Company and Sandia National Laboratories.
