The assembly/disassembly testbed enables research at the intersection of manufacturing, robotics, and AI in an environment that emulates high-mix/low-volume continuous manufacturing. The testbed equipment includes four Yaskawa motoman GP4 robot arms, two Neobotix MP-400 autonomous mobile robots, programmable light curtains, 3D depth cameras and necessary compute/networking hardware. Reconfiguration of the equipment and sensors to meet project specific requirements, is possible within this flexible research environment.
