Event description
The event comprises three interconnected components aimed at advancing healthy aging research and action in the MENA region.
- January 14: The first component includes the NIA Grantsmanship Workshop and DAC activities and opportunities, providing researchers with insights into funding, partnerships, and engagement in aging research.
- January 15-16: The second component, the AL-SEHA Initiative Kick-Off Meeting, focuses on learning from other initiatives using the SHARE model, addressing topics such as climate change, gender dynamics, community modules, equity in data analysis, policy engagement, and sustainability.
- January 17-18: The third component, Knowledge and Actions Supporting Healthy Aging in MENA, highlights recent innovations, fosters networking among key contributors, and identifies research and policy opportunities in Egypt and the region.
