Pedro Magalhães

Magalhães is full professor with 25 years of experience at Agostinho University, the oldest higher education institution in Angola. He is a lecturer in physiological sciences and is a highly committed educator with demonstrable ability to integrate novel teaching strategies and to foster, motivate, and encourage learning in higher education.

Magalhães is a physician and holds a Ph.D. from the Federal University of Espírito Santo in Brazil. He holds a master's degree in cardiovascular physiology from the Federal University of Espírito Santo in Brazil and a degree in medicine from Agostinho Neto in Angola.

He has published papers in reputed journals and has been serving as an editorial board member for seven journals. He is now the vice chancellor from Agostinho Neto University and had been serving in the role since 2017.
