Carnegie Mellon - CMKL | Thailand program is a collaboration between Carnegie Mellon University and King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, a leading engineering university in Thailand. The program includes intensive study in electrical and computer engineering with the opportunity to specialize in data science, security, cyber-physical systems, software engineering, and mobility.

M.S. in ECE in Thailand

Graduates of the M.S. in ECE program will earn two degrees: one from Carnegie Mellon and the other from CMKL University. Admission criteria for the ECE/Thailand M.S. Program are identical to current ECE M.S. admission standards. To facilitate the collaboration with CMU, CMKL University has been established in association with KMITL to administer the Carnegie Mellon – CMKL | Thailand program for research and education activities in Thailand.

Ph.D. in ECE in Thailand

Graduates of the Ph.D. in ECE program will earn two degrees: one from Carnegie Mellon and one from CMKL University. Admissions criteria for the ECE/Thailand Ph.D. Program are identical to those for the ECE Ph.D. Program. Prospective students can use the CMU ECE application to apply to Carnegie Mellon – CMKL | Thailand.

To apply, select Master's or Doctoral from the dropdown, then select Electrical and Computer Engineering. The list of available programs will then display. You may select up to three programs for which to be considered.
