X-ray Lab

  • Xenocs Xeuss 3.0 (SAXS - See the biocube robot in action)
  • Zeiss CrystalCT (X-ray Computed Tomography and Diffraction Contrast Tomography - See a Lab-DCT run in progress)
  • Malvern Panalytical Empyrean (XRD - See a high temperature in-situ x-ray experiment in progress)

Hydra Lab

  • Thermofisher Helios 5 Hydra UX (Plasma Focused Ion Beam -See a 3-D serial section running collecting EBSD patterns with the EDAX velocity ultra camera) 

Sigma Lab

  • Zeiss Sigma 560 VP (In-situ SEM - See the in situ stage in action. The system will collect EBSD patterns with the Oxford Symmetry S3 camera while the Deben stage applies an increasing load. All controlled by proprietary, integrated software from Zeiss.) 

Roberts Engineering Hall

Optical Lab     

  • Horiba LabRAM Soleil (Raman mapping)
  • Zeiss ZenConnect (Guests are invited to explore a correlative dataset using Zeiss ZenConnect software.)

Scanning Electron Microscopy

  • Tescan Mira 3 (ImageSnapper – automated image acquisition and stitching)
