Recent Graduate Update

Harry Dong graduated graduated from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in May 2026. He is now a Senior Researcher at Microsoft Research. 

Dong was awarded the 2026 Rising Stars Award by the The Conference on Parsimony and Learning. The award highlights exceptional junior researchers at a critical inflection and starting point in their career: last-year PhD students, postdoctoral scholars, first-year tenure track faculty, or industry researcher within two years of graduation.
