Student and Collaborator Updates

The Center for Data-Driven Design of Multifunctional Material Systems (D3OM2S) is delighted to share the following updates from our students and collaborators:
Harry Dong (ECE Ph.D. student, Thrust 2) will join Apple as Summer Intern.
Katelyn Jones (MSE, Thrust 1) defended her Ph.D. Thesis entitled "Applying Machine Learning and Computer Vision to the Study of Fatigue Fracture Surfaces." Additionally, she has received an National Research Council (NRC) postdoctoral fellowship to support her at National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
Ayesha Abdhullah (MSE, Thrust 4) defended her Ph.D. Thesis entitled "Elucidation of the Effect of Chain Dispersity on Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of Brush Particle Assembled Materials."
AFRL scientist Michael D. Uchic, Engineering at the Materials & Manufacturing Directorate at the Wright Patterson Air Force Base will visit the Department of Materials Science and Engineering for a Sabbatical.
