Annual Review Hosted at CMU

On September 25, the Center for Data-Driven Design of Multifunctional Material Systems (D3OM2S) hosted 30 visitors from Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) and Air Force Office of Scientific Research (AFOSR) as part of its Annual Review.

The review featured presentations by students and lead investigators on research performed within the center and provided opportunities for CMU researchers and AFRL researchers to network. The review concluded with an invited presentation by Gabe Gomes, who shared the latest advances by his group to leverage large language models for the synthesis of organic compounds.
