Classroom outreach
Interested in having Carnegie Mellon University College of Engineering students visit your elementary, middle, or high school classroom this spring?
The College of Engineering’s DEI office is working to bring CMU students into local Pittsburgh K-12 schools beginning mid-March through the end of April (for undergraduate students) and through mid-June (for graduate students), to teach STEM lessons and to support current lab curriculum needs where extra pairs of hands might be needed.
Many of the students went through PA Act 153 clearance processes last semester in order to volunteer.
