This project will investigate novel high-resistivity metals for use in electronic devices. The high resistivity metals represent an atypical material in electronic devices yet are essential for next-generation devices conceived and designed by iDEAL Semiconductor. This project will begin with an exhaustive literature survey to identify the best candidate materials. The second phase will be an experimental investigation of the growth, processing, and characterization of several candidate materials. The outcome of the project will be a toolkit of available materials that can be implemented in iDEAL Semiconductor devices.
