Carnegie Mellon University’s Wilton E. Scott Institute for Energy Innovation is postponing CMU Energy Week 2020

While there are no confirmed cases in Pittsburgh, the University is taking this precautionary measure to postpone CMU Energy Week 2020 (March 23-27) out of an abundance of care for the health and safety of the attendees and our community, as the coronavirus outbreak continues to be a rapidly changing situation.

Components of CMU Energy Week 2020 will be hosted by other means, including the 2nd Annual CMU VentureWell Energy Hackathon and the Department of Energy’s American-Made Solar Prize Demo Day Competition. Other program elements will be set for future dates. Please check the Scott Institute website for the most updated information, and look for emails and newsletters from us with more details.

Over the past four years, CMU Energy Week has connected government, industry, entrepreneurs, and academia to advance energy technologies and innovations around the world. We will continue to work diligently to find opportunities to bring stakeholders together in meaningful ways to accelerate the transition to a sustainable energy future.

We apologize for any inconvenience this postponement may cause and appreciate your understanding.

Thank you for your continued partnership.
