Join the College of Engineering and the Integrated Innovation Institute for the 2018 Innovation Palooza and Rothberg Catalyzer Impact-a-Thon! Throughout the event, check out faculty and student demos, including metals additive manufacturing, MirrorX, and Power Table, and view industry demos from a variety of companies. Don't forget to check out the student team entries in the Rothberg Catalyzer Impact-a-Thon.

1:10 p.m.–1:25 p.m. Dr. Jonathan Rothberg (E 1985), founder and chairman, Butterfly Network, Inc.

1:25 p.m.–1:35 p.m. Peter L. Votruba-Drzal, Ph.D., associate director Automotive OEM Coatings,

3:25 p.m.–3:45 p.m. Attack Theatre Performance

  • Part One: Theatrical dance repertory that highlights the use of everyday objects in unexpected ways, such as ladders and hover boards
  • Part Two: Utilizing audience responses to craft a performance in real-time that connects with the themes of Innovation Palooza

3:45 p.m.–4:00 p.m. Rothberg Catalyzer Impact-a-Thon Results Announced

  • Alumnus and University Trustee, Dr. Jonathan Rothberg (E 1985), has generously committed to support the competition. An entrepreneur, Dr. Rothberg is the Founder and Chairman of Butterfly Network, Inc.
