G-20 Background Panel CenSCIR Event

The Center for Sensed Critical Infrastructure Research (CenSCIR) at Carnegie Mellon University is hosting a G-20 Backgrounder Panel Discussion at Carnegie Mellon University for media, industry, government and academia. The purpose of the panel will be to prepare and present material that is relevant to the upcoming discussions at the G-20 Summit in Pittsburgh.

The theme of the panel is: "Sustaining the Future of our Critical Infrastructure: Physical Infrastructure must become Cyber-Physical Infrastructure to Maximize Performance and Life-Cycle," and the goal is to discuss ways that the world's infrastructure must adapt to changing demands and technologies to improve both its physical and environmental sustainability.
