This workshop discusses the fundamentals of Qualitative Research Design and gives an introductory overview of qualitative research questions, methods of data collection, and data analysis. Additionally, the workshop offers an introduction to practices and tools that support the making of qualitative research and data open and reproducible.
This workshop will cover:
- Qualitative research paradigms and designing qualitative research questions
- Qualitative data collection and sampling techniques
- Qualitative data analysis and coding
- What it means for qualitative research to be reproducible
- Methods and tools for the responsible sharing of qualitative methods, data, and codebooks
