The “Startup Stories” series, hosted by the Beam Project and the Clean Energy Leadership Institute (CELI), highlights places around the country that are helping to foster and launch clean tech innovations needed to transition to a clean energy economy. Each webinar involves candid conversations with these cleantech changemakers discussing how the support of programs they’ve developed has helped startup founders who are advancing their breakthroughs. 

This first webinar focuses on CMU’s contributions to Pittsburgh’s robust clean energy ecosystem, the Scott Institute’s support of sustainable innovation, and the challenges and successes of cleantech startups born in the region.
