For more than 40 years, the Technical Opportunities Conference has been the largest job fair on Carnegie Mellon's campus, focusing specifically on technical employment.

The TOC offers a great opportunity for companies and potential employees to make connections for both full-time and summer employment.

While the TOC is sponsored by the College of Engineering, it is open to students from all over campus who are pursuing technical studies. We welcome students from SCS, MCS, Dietrich, Tepper, Heinz, and CFA, as well as from Engineering. A variety of companies attend the TOC to match the diverse academic technical interests on campus.

The TOC starts off the recruiting season and gives students a head start in connecting with companies. Various other networking events and information sessions also surround the TOC, increasing the opportunity to make valuable relationships.

The TOC is run by the Society of Women Engineers, a student organization on campus, and is supported by the College of Engineering.
