Carnegie Mellon University will host a regional meeting of the National Academy of Engineering at the university’s Software Engineering Institute on Thursday, April 13, followed by a public symposium where nationally and internationally recognized experts will discuss the Frontiers of Cybersecurity.
 
The keynote speaker at the symposium will be former U.S. Attorney David Hickton, director of the University of Pittsburgh Institute of Cyber Law, Policy, and Security. President Suresh will provide opening remarks to a program that includes speakers from CyLab, the School of Computer Science, the Software Engineering Institute, Battelle, and the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory.
 
The symposium runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and lunch is provided. There is no charge to attend, but registration is required.
