An insider's guide to technical interviews (it's not all programming questions)

January 30, 2017

4:30 p.m. ET

Cohon University Center, McConomy Auditorium

A job interview is an opportunity for you to show a potential employer who you are and what you can do. It’s also an opportunity for you to find out more about a potential employer.

Michael Coblenz, a former senior software engineer in the Silicon Valley software industry (and current SCS PhD student), will talk about how to do your best in interviews for technical positions. Michael interviewed and participated in hiring decisions for over 150 job candidates, some of whom got hired and some of whom didn’t! You’ll hear how your interviewer might be thinking during your interview.
