Cultural awareness: curiosity, knowledge and empathy

What are you doing to make Carnegie Mellon a more welcoming and inclusive place? By being more aware of your own culture and the cultures of others, you can strengthen campus relationships. In this workshop, you will explore ways that culture influences interactions and three elements which can inform how you approach culture: curiosity, knowledge and empathy. Using these elements to guide you, you will leave this workshop with a plan on how to incorporate these elements into your interactions with others.
