For more than 45 years, the Technical Opportunities Conference (TOC) has been the largest career fair on Carnegie Mellon’s campus. We have decided to change the name to the STEM Career Fair (SCF) to more accurately depict what the event is, as well as to be more reflective of the majors that are represented at the fair. This career fair attracts Carnegie Mellon’s engineering, computer science, and science students and allows recruiters to personally meet talented students interested in full-time work or summer internship positions.
The conference is sponsored by the College of Engineering and is organized every year by the student chapter of the Society of Women Engineers. This year’s SCF will be hybrid. The virtual SCF will take place on Monday, September 12, 2022 from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. ET via the Handshake platform. The in-person SCF will be held in Wiegand Gymnasium and Rangos Ballroom on Tuesday, September 20, 2022 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. ET.
Registration is open and available through Handshake. Companies attending in person must be registered no later than August 30th. Companies attending virtually must be registered by September 7th.
