As one of the world’s leading research centers for additive manufacturing, the NextManufacturing Center at Carnegie Mellon University is defining the future of advanced manufacturing research. The Center’s faculty are opening up paths to new ways of thinking about design, researching fundamental elements across all additive manufacturing processes and materials, evaluating new tools and methods, developing critical knowledge and experience, and training professionals and the next generation of additive manufacturing experts.

Basic Membership: $10,000 USD per year

The NextManufacturing Center encourages additive manufacturing organizations from the industrial, government, nonprofit, and academic sectors to join in its mission to bring together organizations to work collaboratively to advance additive manufacturing research and widespread adoption of AM technology as well as accelerate qualification and certification of AM parts.

The Consortium has 14 current members, with nearly 70 interactions across industry, government, and academia. In addition to the Basic, Full, and Premium Membership packages, the Consortium also offers group and individual training sessions on using our AM machines.
