The Technical Opportunities Conference is the largest job fair on Carnegie Mellon's campus, and it is focused specifically on technical employment.
The TOC offers a great opportunity for companies and potential employees to make connections for both full-time and summer employment. The event is open to students of all majors and years. A variety of companies attend the TOC to match the diverse academic technical interests on campus.
The TOC gives students a head start in connecting with companies. Various other networking events and information sessions also surround the TOC, increasing the opportunity to make valuable relationships.
The TOC is run by the Society of Women Engineers, a student organization on campus, and is supported by the College of Engineering. While the TOC is sponsored by the College of Engineering, it is open to students from all over campus who are pursuing technical degrees. We welcome students from the School of Computer Science, Mellon College of Science, Dietrich College, Tepper School of Business, Heinz College, and College of Fine Arts, as well as from the College of Engineering.
